Dawn Watson

Dawn Watson has been the government relations consultant for the Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians since 2017 and is the owner of DW Strategies, a lobbying and consulting firm based in Oklahoma City. Through her firm, she works with a variety of clients, mostly in the health field, including the OAFP. Prior to starting her own company, Dawn served as the government relations director for the American Cancer Society and before that she was a research analyst on the nonpartisan staff of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and before joining the world of politics was a journalist
