T.R. Lewis, M.D. is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon. His areas of interest include spinal deformity (scoliosis), pediatric trauma and fractures, pediatric hip surgery, and hip preservation surgery in adolescents and young adults up to age 30 as well as limb deformity correction. He began practice at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health in August 2010 and was recently promoted to the rank of associate professor in the OU College of Medicine.
Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in College Station, TX in 2004. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the OU College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK in 2009. He continued his sub-specialization training with a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in St. Louis, MO and Washington University in 2009-2010.
