Susan Trippet, APRN-CNP

Susan Trippet is a retired family nurse practitioner from Beaver, Oklahoma. She attended  Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Susan went on to continue her education receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University. After completing her studies to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, she was employed as the first nurse practitioner at Beaver County Memorial Hospital. She was part of visionaries that developed two rural health clinics in Beaver and Turpin, Oklahoma.

Susan has dedicated her career to the citizens of Beaver County. She has made a lifetime commitment to rural healthcare and to providing exemplary patient care to every life she encounters. Rural Health, with its challenges and joys, has always been a passion for Susan. She has loved working at the local level providing hospital, emergency room, nursing home and clinic care for the people of her community. She currently serves as Employee Education Provider at Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Oklahoma.

She has served on the board of Northwest AHEC and currently serves on her local health department board. She also serves on the Rural Health Association of Oklahoma’s board and is the chairman of the Beaver County Coalition Board. Recently she was honored with being awarded the 2022 Practitioner of the Year by the Oklahoma Rural Health Association. Her goal has always been helping people improve their health and providing hope and trust that she is there to help them along their health journey.
Susan loves the life God has blessed her with and is thankful for the people He has put in her life professionally and personally. Susan’s favorite activity outside of work is hiking with her
husband, children, grandchildren, and two dogs.
