MATT ROBISON BIO

Matt Robison has been involved in association management and lobbying since 1985 when he began his professional career at the Oklahoma Trucking Association as their Field Representative and soon moved into the world of politics. He quickly learned he enjoyed walking the halls at the capitol to promote strong policy development and the well-being of the Great State of Oklahoma.

After eight years serving the trucking industry, he joined the Oklahoma Grocers Association as their Vice President of Government Affairs. He then joined the chamber world as Government Affairs Manager for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and then The State Chamber of Oklahoma where he served as Vice President of Government Affairs for 15 years. His responsibilities included small business; retail; education; workforce development and health care. Having a desire to get back into the association world, he joined the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS as their Vice President of Government Affairs where he represented the real estate profession and the protection of property rights.

Matt joined the Oklahoma State Medical Association in November of 2017 where he feels a kinship with the world of health care. OSMA has guided policies directed toward enhancing health outcomes of the citizens of our state.

Matt lives in Oklahoma City. He has two grown children, two grandchildren and has been married to his wife Joy, his disco dance instructor, for 41 years.
