Kyle Rickner, MD, FAAFP

Founder & Chairman of the Board, Primary Health Partners

Dr. Kyle Rickner is a board-certified family physician and the founder of Primary Health Partners, a direct primary care practice dedicated to restoring the physician-patient relationship and bringing value-based care back to individuals and businesses. A native Oklahoman, Dr. Rickner graduated from Kingfisher High School and Southern Nazarene University before earning his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Great Plains Family Medicine in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Rickner began his medical career in the U.S. Army, serving as a staff physician and battalion surgeon in the 82nd Airborne Division during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His professional background spans private practice, corporate medicine, and clinical research, where he has served as both a director and IRB chairman.

Driven by a desire to fix what he calls the “broken healthcare system,” Dr. Rickner created Primary Health Partners to reimagine primary care through accessibility, innovation, and strong doctor-patient connections. He remains actively involved in medical research and is passionate about using data and evidence to stay at the forefront of care delivery.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rickner is a former collegiate basketball player, avid golfer, and exercise enthusiast. He and his wife Julie, whom he met in college, have been married since 1989 and are the proud parents of six children and several beloved dogs. They are active members of Life.Church and their local community.
