Julia Profit-Williams, MHA, BSN
Julia Profit-Williams is the Associate Director of Preventive Health at the Tulsa Health Department. She has nursing degrees from Rogers University in Claremore and received her BSN from Oklahoma City University. She received a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where she was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She has a certificate in Nurse Leadership from Duke University. With her nursing background she has previously held positions as the Clinical Manager of Maternal Child Health at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa and Clinical Manager of the Obstetrics Department at Bailey Medical Center in Owasso. She was also the Chief Operating Officer of Hillcrest Hospital in Cushing Oklahoma.
Ms. Profit-Williams is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is an Officer and on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Nurses Association. She served as the Legislative Coordinator for the Oklahoma Section of AWHONN and has been on the Tulsa Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Committee of the Tulsa Health Department since 2006. In 2020 she received the “Nursing Impact on Public Policy” award from the Oklahoma Nurses Association.
