Jerry Childs Jr, DO
Jerry Childs, DO was born and raised in Oklahoma. He graduated Berryhill High School 1973, Oklahoma University 1978 and the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine 1981. Dr. Childs competed a rotating internship at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital and started practice of Emergency Medicine in 1982, becoming board certified in 1988. He practiced Emergency Medicine for 30 years, before taking the position of Medical Director of the Oklahoma County Adult Detention Center. In 2017, he took the position of Chief Medical Director of Armor Healthcare, serving jails and prisons throughout the country. Retiring in 2023, he is a volunteer physician at Ministries of Jesus Clinic. He serves as a Board Member and Medical Director for No Boundaries International. He has been married for 45 years and enjoys spending time with his four children and nine grandchildren.
