Graham Billingham, MD

Dr. Graham Billingham, chief medical officer (CMO) of MedPro Group, has 35 years of experience as an emergency medicine physician. He speaks
nationally and internationally on healthcare changes and emerging risks. He has also lectured in more than 350 continuing medical education courses on risk management, operations, documentation, patient safety, information technology, and malpractice prevention. As CMO, Dr. Billingham leads the company’s Patient Safety and Risk Solutions department and works with other leaders to support clinical risk, claims,
underwriting, and sales efforts.
Dr. Billingham served as president and chief executive officer for EPIC RRG before becoming CMO at MedPro Group. He served on the physician advisory boards of several technology and insurance companies as well as the American College of Emergency Physicians Medical Legal Committee and the Coding and Nomenclature Committee.
Additionally, Dr. Billingham is Emeritus Chairman of the Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Foundation, and he served on the board of the
Emergency Department Practice Management Association. He founded and served as Medical Director for the Center for Emergency Medical
Education, and he also was a co-founder of the National Emergency Medicine Board Review Course.  Dr. Billingham completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Stanford University, medical school at UCLA Medical Center, and his residency in emergency medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
