This course provides an in-depth exploration of the latest evidence-based guidelines and emerging data for diagnosing and managing obesity as a chronic, treatable disease. Participants will review recent efficacy and safety of available and emerging anti-obesity medications (AOMs) and their implications for real-world practice. Additionally, the course emphasizes the importance of holistic care plans that incorporate patient education and shared decision-making (SDM) principles while avoiding stigma and bias.
