We’ll explore key resources and organizations like patient advocacy groups, professional medical associations, and government agencies.

Next, we’ll dive into the ethical and professional responsibility of physicians to advocate for their patients and explore how advocating for healthcare equity aligns with the core values of the medical profession. We will then explore the practical aspects of healthcare advocacy.  This may involve advocating for specific policies at the local, state, or federal level, promoting preventative care in underserved communities, or speaking out against discriminatory healthcare practices. We’ll showcase real-world examples of effective advocacy efforts, demonstrating how physicians can use their voice and expertise to make a tangible difference.
