Ghazi Rayan, MD

Dr. Rayan graduated from Alexandria University Medical School in Egypt. He completed Orthopedic Surgery training at Union Memorial-Johns Hopkins Hospital program and was engaged in Hand Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Curtis National Hand Center, both in Baltimore Maryland. Dr. Rayan served as Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Oklahoma University College of Medicine, where he founded the Oklahoma Hand Surgery Fellowship program. He is the Past President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. The author of nine academic books, over 40 book chapters and more than 200 scientific articles, Dr. Rayan has given over 300 regional, national and international scientific presentations. In addition, he has written four nonfiction books, including Immigrant Physicians: Their Influence on American Medicine.
