Clinical Integration Program Manager, Veterans Health Administration Office of Community Care
Kerry Inhofe RN, BSN, MPH is employed by Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Community Care, Clinical Integration. Her roles include administrator, educator, and clinical consultant for local, regional, and national program offices within VHA. Prior to this, she managed the OKC VA’s Office of Community Care where she was responsible for launching both the Patient Centered Community Care (PC3) and Veterans Choice Programs for the OKC VA, as well as facilitating implementation of the many programs supporting Community Care. Kerry previously served as the Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Quality Officer for Community Hospital in Oklahoma City, and her responsibilities included oversight of clinical service lines including Nursing, Laboratory, Cardiopulmonary, Rehab, and Nutrition/Food services. As CQO she was responsible for oversight of all quality management coordination services including Utilization Review, Case Management, Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Infection Control, and Core Measures reporting. She has spent most of her 21 years as a Nurse at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. Her roles have included Staff Nurse in areas including Medical-Surgical, Surgical Intensive Care, Cardiac Intensive Care, and various Outpatient Surgical Clinics. She has held positions in Nursing Management for Inpatient Medical-Surgical, and senior Nursing leadership with oversight responsibilities for Intensive Care, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, and Inpatient and Outpatient Mental Health. She has also served the OKC VA in the roles of Patient Safety Coordinator and Systems Redesign Coordinator.
